Ellie grew up in South St. Paul Minnesota and decided after high school to go the college route by attending Iowa State University. After trying out journalism, social work, and marketing, she decided to drop out of school and attend the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis for cosmetology. Ellie has always had an interest in the beauty industry considering her grandma was a hairdresser. If it wasn’t for her grandma, she would have never expressed herself by switching up her hair color (a lot). Ellie loves how having the hair you want can boost your confidence and make you feel more like yourself. Some of her favorite services are doing red heads, lived in colors, fashion colors, and layered haircuts. When Ellie is not in the salon, she enjoys thrifting, spending quality time with friends and family, and being a dog auntie! A passion of hers outside of hair is working on her overall health. Ellie is a big mental health advocate and is always available to discuss anything about it!
